I was using the Neve DPX 1073 and decided to sell and try these Tube Preamps from API. I'm so glad I did. API has nailed the T12, full of mojo and thickness without losing any top end clarity.
The DI for bass or guitar has got me the best sounds I've ever gotten. Lire plus
Also using it with an SM7 for a rock singer I was blown away by the detail and clarity.
I do miss the EQ of the Neve, but I found it to be thin sounding in comparison to the t12.
