The Blue Sky BMC MK II (Bass Management Controller) is designed to offer full bass management, calibration and remote volume control in a convenient, easy to use package. Designed for professional applications, such as surround music or post production, the Blue Sky BMC features fully balanced inputs and outputs, along with ultra high-quality audio components. The BMC can be combined with Sky System One, ProDesk or a Big Blue system to create a world class multi-channel studio monitoring system. Because the BMC utilizes industry standard bass management circuitry, it is also compatible with many other studio monitors.
The BMC MK II is the first significant upgrade to Blue Sky's original Bass Management Controller. The MK II version includes several upgrades, which both increase performance and add new features.
Blue Sky BMC MK II's features
New toroidal transformer for quieter operation
Four new, user defined, software pre-sets - which can be quickly recalled
New output solos which are directly and quickly accessible from the remote
New bass-managed / LFE buss -10dB offset software toggle. This is used to give the bass-management / LFE buss 10dB of additional headroom, so as to avoid clipping when running high input signal levels, or dual BMCs with a common bass-managed / LFE buss.
Newly updated software, allows for easy expansion to up to 10.2 channels of bass-management, calibration and master volume control. (requires second BMC MK II)
