MONOFILTER
Used and trusted by producers the world over, MONOFILTER grabs hold of your bass and secures it solidly within your mix. Intuitive controls allow you to quickly anchor the power, whilst retaining the essential character and perceived spatial characteristics.
MONOFILTER brings back the centre of your bass, so easily lost through stereo effects processing, synth sound generation, unwanted phase inconsistencies and live recording mic. bleed. Our market leading features now give you clear control over stereo spread, transition and phase alignment, and the unique interface gives you clear and exacting visual feedback.
If solid or natural sounding bass is a requirement in your recording projects, Monofilter provides the foundation for real power and definition.
The ear finds it difficult, if not impossible to determine the direction of low frequencies. This can often contribute to a lack of clarity and focus in the mix.
In general, natural sounding audio is phase coherent in the lower frequencies, and as a result, we tend to perceive phase inconsistencies as 'weak', 'hollow' or 'flat'. As soon as recorded audio is in the studio however, the chances of introducing such artifacts are high. Adding stereo FX processing and using multiple mic. set-ups - the staples of modern recording - immediately bring the issue into play.
Many modern playback systems benefit from separate low frequency handling (Club PA, live rig, Home Cinema, HiFi, 2.1 Gaming systems etc.). Low frequency phase consistency balanced power distribution ensures optimal playback performance.
Monofilter allows you to align and balance low frequencies with the minimum of effort, leaving you with the same sound, yet louder, more focussed and better defined.

Stereoplacer
The pan control has come of age. Now you can adjust the stereo balance where you want to. Gone are the days when making an improvement in one area causes problems with another - choose the frequencies you want to fix and move them, leaving the rest of the stereo image intact.
Adjust the position of percussion sounds in a stereo track, or add stereo positioning to mono samples, placing frequencies exactly where you want them. Stereoplacer gives you control that is simply not available within a traditional mix setup.
Stereoplacer is an advanced fine-tune parametric balancing control. This allows you to tune each band into specific frequencies and move the frequency content around in the stereo sound stage - Stereoplacer keeps the balance of the original sounds while you choose the position.
Stereoplacer gives you the tools preciecly adjust, correct and redistribute stereo information by frequency - simply, quickly and without unwanted side effects. With multiple bands and curves to chose from, you can generate a stereo adustment envelope that precicely matches your spatial requirements.
With fully adjustable curves (bell, high and low shelving and even additional linked-hamonic overtones) you can redistribute stereo information with subtlety or powerfully correct signals - even moving hard-panned frequencies from one side to the other - without affecting the overall level balance of the material.
Typical Applications
