The API Vision+ console is now available, expanding on the established Vision platform with updates to automation, control, and system flexibility. According to the official announcement from API, the console maintains a fully analog in-line signal path while incorporating features that support current studio workflows.
The Vision+ includes dual 100 mm motorized faders per channel and is offered in frame sizes ranging from 32 to 96 channels. It provides 24 multitrack buses, three stereo buses, and a stereo grand master bus. Each channel supports stereo, LCR, and surround panning, along with high-pass filters on both signal paths. Optional API EQ modules can be configured per channel.

The integrated Final Touch Automation system introduces a dual touchscreen Automation Control Module for managing automation functions. The console also supports DAW control via HUI and MCU protocols, allowing channel faders to operate as a control surface. The automation system is self-contained and does not require external hardware.
Updates to the input module include a revised layout, an upgraded fader drive circuit with touch calibration, and an Alt-Line input option that increases line input availability during mixdown. The lower 200 Series dynamics module can be assigned independently to either fader path. LED-illuminated switch caps improve visibility across the channel strip.
System-level updates include changes to power monitoring, power distribution, and patch bay design. An optional API 2500+ stereo bus compressor can be integrated into the center section.
Additional configuration options include a producer’s desk with monitor mounting and an options bucket pre-wired for 200 Series and or 500 Series modules, allowing further customization.
The Vision+ console is now part of API’s product range, combining analog signal flow with expanded automation and integration capabilities.
