Legendary Canadian producer Garth “GGGarth” Richardson is in town, making noise in all the right ways. Known for his work with Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Biffy Clyro, GGGarth is the kind of producer who doesn’t just shape sound. He defines it.

This time, he’s teamed up with Montreal’s own punk rock institution Grimskunk at the iconic Indica Records studio. For those unfamiliar, Grimskunk has been shaking stages and flipping expectations since the '90s with their genre-bending blend of punk, rock, reggae, and psychedelia. These are two serious forces coming together, and naturally, everything needs to sound just right.
There was just one issue. GGGarth couldn’t get comfortable without his trusted PMC6-2 monitors from PMC Speakers. When you're used to precision and depth like that, anything else just won't cut it. That’s where we stepped in.
Marc-André from our team answered the call and made sure GGGarth had exactly what he needed to keep the session firing on all cylinders. With the PMC6-2s back in action, the studio lit up and tracking kicked off with the energy you'd expect from a project like this.

Just to be clear though: You don’t need a lush goatee to appreciate the PMC6-2. You just need great ears
Keep an eye (and ear) out for what comes out of this collaboration. With this much talent in one room and the right tools in place, there's a lot to look forward to.
