As part of the BCC series, the BCC-CCU-X actively combines both power and smart battery data, emulating a single smart battery. This enables seamless integration with Audioroot’s SMBus-compatible power distributors like the eSMART BG-DU, DUO, TRIO, and K-ART. Users benefit from live feedback on battery voltage, current, charge level, and remaining runtime, enhancing reliability in field and bag-based setups.

The inclusion of a USB-C input allows for modern AC/DC hybrid power configurations, supporting hotswapping or emergency backup via a PPS-compatible USB-C PD power supply. Combined with the robust XLR4 output, the BCC-CCU-X is well-suited for powering mixers, recorders, and transmitters that use industry-standard XLR4 DC input.
