Description

The Black Lion Audio MIDI Eight is a versatile 8-in, 8-out MIDI interface designed to unify and simplify control over your entire MIDI setup. With eight 5-pin MIDI inputs and outputs, it allows seamless connection and management of synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers, and controllers. Each port features a dedicated LED indicator for immediate visibility of MIDI activity. The unit also includes a 5-port powered USB hub for connecting USB MIDI gear and peripherals, along with front-mounted MIDI ports for quick access. A built-in Panic button helps clear stuck notes with a single press, making it a practical tool for both live and studio use.

The MIDI Eight can operate as a computer-connected interface or in standalone mode without a DAW. In standalone use, it offers three clear routing modes: Pass, Thru, and Merge, allowing you to tailor the signal flow to suit any hardware configuration. It is class-compliant for macOS and Windows, requiring no drivers, and supports both USB bus power and an external power supply. Built in a rugged black aluminum chassis, the unit reflects Black Lion Audio’s reputation for quality and reliability. This interface offers clean organization, flexible routing, and dependable performance in a compact form.
