Description

The Blackmagic Design ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 40 combines professional switcher control and SMPTE-2110 IP video monitoring into a larger 2RU rackmount design built for high-end broadcast environments. Designed to work seamlessly with ATEM Constellation IP switchers, it provides a practical front-panel solution for live production workflows where fast access to monitoring and switching controls is essential. The unit features a large 5-inch integrated LCD display for local video monitoring, along with dedicated source, transition, and talkback controls that make it ideal for flypacks, mobile production systems, and control room installations.

Built for modern IP-based facilities, the ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 40 includes dual redundant 10G Ethernet SMPTE-2110 connections with SMPTE-2022-7 support for dependable signal redundancy during critical productions. It converts incoming IP video to dual 12G-SDI outputs and HDMI monitoring output while also supporting embedded audio across all outputs. The expanded control surface includes 42 LED buttons, source selection controls, transition buttons, talkback controls, and a front-panel lock function for secure operation during live events.

The panel supports a wide range of HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60, along with SMPTE 2110-20, 2110-21, 2110-30, and 2110-40 standards for professional broadcast compatibility. Dual internal power supplies, USB-C setup connectivity, and integration with ATEM Software Control on macOS and Windows make it a flexible addition to advanced live production systems. Its larger control layout and built-in monitoring capabilities provide operators with efficient access to switching and monitoring functions in a compact rack-mounted form factor.
