The Lectrosonics DBu-LEMO Digital Bodypack Wireless Transmitter (470 to 608 MHz) is a powerful, professional-grade transmitter designed for seamless integration into Lectrosonics’ D-Squared digital wireless systems. Compact, rugged, and feature-rich, the DBu-LEMO is purpose-built for broadcast, theater, film, and live production environments that demand high audio quality, security, and reliability. Its wideband UHF tuning range (470.1 to 607.95 MHz) offers flexibility in crowded RF environments, while AES 256-CTR encryption with three security modes (Standard, Shared, Universal) ensures signal confidentiality for sensitive applications.

Designed around a 3-pin LEMO input with servo bias, the DBu accommodates a variety of lavaliers, headset mics, dynamic microphones, and even line-level signals. Its DSP-controlled input limiter, high-quality preamp, and 44 dB of gain adjustment in 1 dB steps provide clean, studio-grade audio performance. Users can choose between 25 and 50 mW RF output power, balancing range and battery life. Housed in solid machined aluminum with a durable black electroless nickel finish, it features a detachable antenna, backlit LCD, and a programmable top-panel switch that can serve as a mute, talkback, or power button.

The DBu offers up to 5 hours of operation on two AA batteries and includes a secure battery door and belt clip designed to withstand daily field use. IR sync enables quick pairing with compatible receivers, while firmware updates can be performed via the side-mounted USB port. Though it lacks built-in mobile app compatibility, the optional LectroRM app (sold separately) provides remote control over key settings like frequency and input level via encoded audio signals.
