The MIC8.LINE.I is an 8-channel analog input module designed for seamless integration with DirectOut's PRODIGY.MC, PRODIGY.MP, and MAVEN.A systems. Engineered to accommodate a wide range of signal levels, from microphone to line, the module connects via a single DSUB-25 connector (AES59 standard), offering a compact and efficient solution for expanding I/O in both live and installed sound environments.

Each input is fully balanced and supports phantom power (+48 V) with a switchable -9 dB pad, making it versatile enough for everything from dynamic mics to high-level line signals. The MIC8.LINE.I delivers high-end performance with exceptional specs: an equivalent input noise (EIN) of -118 dBu, THD at -113 dB, and SNR up to -118 dB(A). With a frequency response flat from 10 Hz to FS/2, it ensures accurate, transparent audio capture which is ideal for applications where high fidelity is expected, such as front-of-house systems or permanent installs. For premium recording and broadcast needs, DirectOut recommends the MIC8.HD.I variant.
