The DPA 4166 CORE+ Omnidirectional Flex Headset Microphone (Brown, 90 mm Boom, MicroLock) – model 4166-OP-F-C90-MH – is a professional-grade headset microphone designed for clear, natural vocal pickup in live presentations, theater, broadcast, and corporate settings. Featuring the renowned miniature capsule from DPA’s 4060 series, this mic delivers excellent clarity and openness, now enhanced with CORE+ technology for a wider dynamic range and extremely low distortion, even at sound pressure levels up to 144 dB peak.

This version includes a 90 mm boom arm, offering a compact and discreet fit ideal for smaller faces or users who prefer a closer placement to the mouth. The omnidirectional pickup pattern ensures consistent sound even with head movement, while the built-in 3 dB high-frequency boost enhances speech intelligibility. Its brown finish allows it to blend seamlessly with warm skin tones or hair colors for low visual impact on stage or on camera. The MicroLock connector ensures a secure, modular connection and supports compatibility with a wide range of professional wireless systems via optional adapters.
