Description

The Lectrosonics DM84 is a compact yet powerful 8-input / 4-output digital matrix processor designed for professional audio installations that demand flexible routing, intelligent mixing, and high-quality signal processing. Whether used as a standalone unit or integrated into a larger LecNet2 system, the DM84 delivers advanced DSP features and exceptional configurability, making it ideal for boardrooms, courtrooms, worship spaces, educational institutions, and corporate AV systems.

At its core, the DM84 is built on a stackable architecture, allowing up to three units to be combined for a 24x12 matrix. Each input and output channel includes extensive DSP, with 6 filters, delay, and a compressor on inputs, and 9 filters, delay, compressor/limiter on outputs. Its adaptive digital feedback eliminators (ADFE) and AutoSkew™ proportional gain auto-mixing algorithm ensure clean, echo-free audio in complex multi-mic environments.

Front-panel controls provide real-time level adjustment with LED indicators, while remote configuration is accessible via USB, RS-232, and Ethernet, supporting third-party integration with systems like Crestron and AMX. All audio connections use 5-pin Phoenix connectors, and the system maintains a fully balanced differential audio signal path, ensuring clean signal integrity throughout.
