The DPA 4080 CORE+ Cardioid Lavalier Microphone (Black, MicroLock) – model 4080-DP-D-B90 – is a precision-engineered microphone tailored for professional speech applications where vocal clarity, discretion, and control over ambient noise are essential. Its cardioid pickup pattern offers focused directionality, capturing the speaker's voice with excellent isolation while rejecting sound from the sides and rear. Built with CORE+ technology, the 4080 delivers a transparent, low-distortion signal across a wide dynamic range, handling SPL levels up to 134 dB peak with ease. The MicroLock connector provides a secure and robust connection point, compatible with a range of DPA adapters, giving users flexibility across multiple wireless systems. It comes pre-mounted on a shock-isolated clip that can be positioned for left or right shirt placement, along with both black and white pop filters to reduce plosives and match different clothing.
