Description

The Trinnov Audio NOVA+MIC bundle combines the compact 1U NOVA digital audio processor with Trinnov’s compatible 3D Microphone ETH, providing the essential tools for precise loudspeaker and room calibration in professional studios. NOVA features Trinnov Optimizer technology and ships with two channels of optimization, with additional channels available through software licensing. Its flexible analog and digital connectivity includes a 16-in/16-out Dante interface, while integrated monitoring functions allow it to serve as a room optimizer, monitor controller and audio interface within the same system.

During calibration, the 3D Microphone connects directly to NOVA’s front-panel etherCON microphone input. Once connected, the microphone automatically powers on and transfers its individual compensation profile to NOVA, helping ensure accurate acoustic measurements. The Optimizer analyzes each loudspeaker in the room, including frequency response, timing and positioning, then applies correction for issues such as level, delay, phase and room interaction. Single-position and multipoint measurements are supported, along with bass management, target curves and detailed acoustic graphs for further adjustment.

For day-to-day operation, NOVA is controlled through the Trinnov App on supported computers and iOS devices, with straightforward access to source selection, speaker sets, volume, mute, dim, presets and optimization controls. A dedicated headphone output, customizable monitoring functions and support for external control options make the NOVA+MIC bundle a compact solution for studios that want accurate monitoring and a streamlined calibration workflow without adding multiple separate processors.
