The Genelec 8040BRW is the RAW aluminium finish variant of the renowned 8040B Studio Monitor, offering the same pristine sound quality with a distinctive, unpainted industrial aesthetic. Ideal for studios seeking both sonic precision and a modern, environmentally conscious design, the 8040BRW retains all the performance hallmarks of the 8040B which delivers a powerful SPL of 105 dB and a wide frequency response from 41 Hz to 25 kHz (-6 dB) for detailed monitoring across the spectrum.

Equipped with a 165 mm bass driver and 19 mm metal dome tweeter, each powered by 90 W Class AB amplifiers, the 8040BRW provides clean, accurate playback for mixing, mastering, or post-production. Genelec’s proprietary technologies such as Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™) and the Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™) which ensure smooth, transparent sound both on- and off-axis. The monitor also includes an Iso-Pod™ stand for optimal placement and decoupling, and room response compensation switches for acoustic tailoring.
