The Focusrite ISA C8X is a flagship USB-C audio interface that brings decades of ISA heritage into a modern studio environment. Built around the same transformer-based preamp design that has shaped professional recordings for over 40 years, it delivers a sound known for its clarity, depth, and musical warmth. Housed in a robust 2U rackmount unit, it blends classic analogue character with flexible digital control, making it a natural fit for studios that want both traditional tone and contemporary workflow. 

Designed to handle full-scale sessions with ease, ISA C8X offers a generous combination of inputs and outputs for recording, routing, and monitoring. Two ISA transformer preamps sit alongside six additional mic preamps, giving you a versatile front end for capturing everything from vocals to instruments with precision and character. Features like Console and 430 Air modes allow you to shape your sound with subtle saturation or added high-end presence, while remote control software lets you manage settings, routing, and mixes from your computer or mobile device.

This interface is well suited to permanent studio setups, especially those built around outboard gear and patch bays.
