The RME TCO-HDSP is an optional synchronization module specifically designed for the Hammerfall DSP (HDSP) system, enhancing its already impressive flexibility by adding professional-grade sync capabilities. Originally developed to complement RME’s pioneering HDSP architecture, famous for being the first pro-level multitrack audio solution for both desktop and laptop systems, the TCO-HDSP adds robust support for LTC, video sync (PAL/NTSC), and Wordclock sources.

This module integrates directly with HDSP PCI or CardBus cards, including interfaces like the HDSP AES-32 and HDSP 9632, and enables accurate synchronization for audio and video workflows without occupying a dedicated PCI slot. Featuring BNC connectors for various input/output formats (LTC, Wordclock, and video), the TCO-HDSP is ideal for post-production, broadcast, and any workflow demanding SMPTE or video lock.

The TCO-HDSP benefits from the HDSP system's legendary zero CPU load, ultra-low latency, and plug-and-play performance. It complements a system that already delivers up to 130 MB/s transfer rates, with interrupt sharing and seamless integration across platforms.
