Founded in 2014, Soyuz Microphones brings together Russian engineering, meticulous in-house craftsmanship and original design. As co-founder David Brown explains, “Soyuz was founded by an American and a Russian who believed that ordinary people from countries with adversarial relationships could come together and build something meaningful.” That spirit inspired the name Soyuz, meaning “union.” Today, the company produces handcrafted tube and FET condenser microphones, preamps and accessories known for their rich character, smooth detail, custom transformers and distinctive musical sound.
