Description

The Antelope Audio Galaxy 32 Synergy Core is a multi-channel audio interface and high-end AD/DA converter designed for serious recording studios, production rooms, post-production spaces, and advanced audio installations. It brings together 32 channels of analog input and output, high-resolution conversion, flexible digital connectivity, and onboard Synergy Core processing in a compact 1U rackmount unit.

This interface is made for setups that need to handle large track counts, complex routing, and multiple audio formats without relying on a collection of separate devices. With Thunderbolt 3, HDX, Dante, MADI, ADAT, and S/PDIF connectivity, the Galaxy 32 Synergy Core can sit at the center of a modern studio and connect smoothly with DAWs, Pro Tools HDX systems, networked audio environments, outboard gear, and multi-room production setups.

The Galaxy 32 Synergy Core is especially useful for studios that record many sources at once, such as full bands, large live sessions, scoring dates, drum tracking, or hybrid analog mixing workflows. Its 32 analog inputs and 32 analog outputs make it well suited for pairing with external preamps, compressors, EQs, summing mixers, patch bays, and consoles. The DB25 connections help keep larger studio wiring clean and organized.

For engineers working in Pro Tools HDX, the dual HDX ports allow the unit to integrate directly into an HDX-based workflow with up to 64 channels of audio. For networked audio setups, Dante support allows audio to be sent across standard Ethernet infrastructure, making the Galaxy 32 Synergy Core a strong fit for facilities that need to move sound between rooms, stages, booths, machines, or other Dante-compatible devices.

The onboard Synergy Core processing gives users access to Antelope Audio effects inside the interface itself, helping reduce strain on the computer while giving performers and engineers processed monitoring options during recording. The Control Panel application provides a clear environment for routing, mixing, metering, presets, monitor control, and effects management, making it easier to adapt the interface to different sessions and studio layouts.

A dedicated routing matrix lets users send analog, digital, DAW, Dante, MADI, HDX, AFX, mixer, and surround signals where they need to go. This makes the Galaxy 32 Synergy Core more than just an interface. It can also function as a central digital patching and routing hub for complex studio systems.

The unit also includes monitor outputs, dual front-panel displays, hardware controls, preset recall, detailed metering, and surround monitoring tools. For immersive or surround work, it supports monitoring formats up to 9.1.6 within a 16-channel speaker management environment, with calibration tools such as EQ, delay, level control, bass management, and mute or solo options for individual speakers.

Clocking is another key part of the Galaxy 32 Synergy Core’s design. Its high-stability clocking system helps maintain clear imaging, reliable synchronization, and consistent audio performance across connected equipment. It can also sync with external word clock sources or Antelope Audio’s 10M and 10MX atomic clock systems, making it suitable for studios where multiple digital devices need to stay tightly locked together.

The Antelope Audio Galaxy 32 Synergy Core is best suited for users who need a powerful centerpiece for a professional recording, mixing, post-production, or immersive audio environment. It combines high channel count, studio-grade conversion, flexible digital integration, onboard processing, and deep routing control in a space-saving rack unit that can grow with demanding audio workflows.
