The SPL Pre One is a high-performance dual-channel microphone preamplifier designed to deliver outstanding sound quality through its discrete technology. Ideal for both professional audio recording and live performances, the Pre One is equipped with two preamplifiers that ensure an open and transparent sound, perfect for capturing the nuances of both vocals and instruments. One of its standout features is the inclusion of a Hi-Z instrument input, allowing instruments like electric guitars to benefit from the high-quality preamp sound, making it versatile for a variety of recording setups.
Both preamps come with adjustable gain control ranging from +8 to +62 dB, making it compatible with demanding microphones. Each channel also features 48V phantom power, a high-pass filter to eliminate low-frequency noise, and phase reverse functionality for greater sound control. The Pre One also offers unique EQ settings with the Flair and Contour functions, enhancing the high frequencies for a silky sound or creating a more compact mix. With its high-quality Neutrik XLR mic inputs and separate line outputs, this preamplifier is a professional-grade addition to any recording setup.
