The Volt 876 USB Recording Studio from Universal Audio delivers a powerful, rackmount-ready solution for producers, bands, and content creators who need a flexible and professional audio interface. Designed to capture every detail with clarity, it features 24-in / 28-out connectivity, eight analog-style preamps, and classic 1176-inspired compressors built right into the front panel. Its 32-bit / 192 kHz audio conversion ensures top-tier fidelity for all your recordings.

Created by the same team behind UA’s Apollo interfaces, the Volt 876 gives you deep integration with UAD software, including full compatibility with Mac, Windows, iPad, and iPhone. It pairs beautifully with the LUNA Digital Audio Workstation for a seamless hardware-software recording experience.

At the heart of the Volt 876 are eight microphone preamps, each with UA’s exclusive Vintage mode. This feature emulates the warmth and character of the iconic 610 tube console, delivering a rich, analog-style tone that brings vocals, guitars, and instruments to life. Alongside these preamps, every input channel is equipped with UA’s 76 Compressor, inspired by the legendary 1176 Limiting Amplifier. These compressors offer switchable presets tailored for vocals, drums, guitars, and synths, making it easy to add clarity and punch to any source without diving into complex settings.

The Volt 876 isn’t just about sound quality—it’s designed to streamline your workflow. You can control input levels automatically with Assistive Auto-Gain, manage low-latency monitoring with two cue mixes and talkback, and save your entire session setup for instant recall using the UAD Console app or LUNA. This makes switching between projects quick and hassle-free.

For creators on the move, Volt 876 connects easily to iPads and iPhones, giving you a mobile-ready studio setup perfect for recording band rehearsals, laying down ideas, or editing tracks anywhere. With ADAT connectivity, it can be expanded by linking up to three Volt 876 units or integrated into existing Apollo and ADAT-equipped setups to create a fully scalable recording system.

This interface also comes packed with software. Included is the UAD Producer Suite, which features industry-standard tools like the Teletronix LA-2A and UA 1176 compressors, Pultec EQs, and the PolyMAX Synth. You’ll also get third-party titles like Ableton Live Lite, Melodyne Essential, and amp sims from Marshall and Ampeg, giving you everything you need to create a full mix straight out of the box.

Volt 876 offers studio-grade sound, flexible routing, and user-friendly tools in a rugged build that fits comfortably into any desktop or rack setup. From multi-mic band sessions to mobile production, it’s a versatile and powerful choice for anyone serious about their audio.
