Description
The Allen & Heath CQ20B-RK19 rack kit is designed to provide a clean and secure way to mount the CQ-20B digital mixer into a standard 19-inch rack system. The kit includes dedicated left and right rack ears along with the required mounting screws, allowing the mixer to integrate neatly into touring racks, studio installations, or fixed AV setups. The right-side rack ear includes a precision cut-out to accommodate the unit’s cooling fan, helping maintain proper airflow during operation.
Installation is straightforward using the supplied Torx screws and the existing mounting points on the underside of the CQ-20B. Once installed, the rack ears create a stable mounting solution while maintaining a slight clearance around the chassis to help prevent wear or damage. Allen & Heath also recommends allowing adequate ventilation around the mixer and reserving at least 4U of rack space for proper airflow and cable management.
