The Lectrosonics DSSM Water-Resistant Micro Digital Wireless Transmitter (941 to 959 MHz) is a discreet, high-performance bodypack transmitter tailored for professional use in live performance, broadcast, film, and theater settings. It combines exceptionally compact design with rugged construction, making it ideal for talent concealment and harsh working environments. With its IP57 rating, the DSSM is fully dustproof and can withstand immersion in water up to 3.3 feet for over 30 minutes, offering reassurance in unpredictable or high-intensity production conditions.

Engineered for compatibility with all Lectrosonics digital receivers, including DSQD, DCHR, M2Ra, DSR, DSR4, and DCR822, the DSSM offers broad system flexibility. It features a LEMO 3-pin mic input with servo bias circuitry, supporting electret lavaliers, dynamic mics, and line-level sources. The transmitter delivers selectable RF power levels of 10, 25, and 50 mW in D2 mode, and 4 mW in HDM (high-density) mode, giving you control over range, battery life, and interference management. Its AES 256-bit CTR encryption with multiple key policies ensures robust signal security for sensitive applications, including corporate and government use.

Designed for ease of use, the DSSM includes a membrane switch panel, OLED display, and intuitive menu navigation. A bi-color LED provides quick visual feedback on battery status, while the removable LB-50 battery delivers up to 6 hours of runtime. The transmitter supports firmware updates via USB, and wireless configuration using the LectroRM mobile app. Its removable antenna (SMA mount) and belt clip round out a package built for performance, durability, and convenience, making it a versatile choice for demanding wireless audio deployments.
