Description

The KVG 160 nx is a medium-length capsule extension designed for use with Neumann KK-series microphone capsules, allowing the capsule to be positioned independently from the output stage for optimal placement in a wide range of professional applications. With an extended length of approximately 600 mm, it offers a balance between reach and discretion which is ideal for lecterns, broadcast studios, or fixed installations.

Built with a rigid 8 mm diameter shaft, the KVG 160 nx features a ±110° swivel joint at the capsule end, enabling precise angling for accurate audio capture. The opposite end connects directly to a compatible Neumann output stage or can be extended further using an LC 4 cable. With its clean design and sturdy construction, the KVG 160 nx provides both flexibility and reliability for high-quality, unobtrusive microphone setups.
