The SGI RX Stereo is the receiver half of the SGI Stereo system by Radial Engineering, a professional-grade stereo line driver setup designed to preserve guitar tone over long cable runs. When paired with the SGI TX Stereo transmitter, the RX unit receives balanced stereo signals transmitted over a single Cat5 Ethernet cable, extending your reach up to 100 meters (300 feet) without introducing noise, hum, or signal degradation.
On the SGI RX Stereo unit, you’ll find stereo ¼" outputs for connecting to amplifiers or effects, along with L/R ground lift switches to eliminate hum caused by ground loops. A key feature is the 180° polarity reverse switch on the left output, which corrects phase issues between stereo amps. The unit also uses locking RJ45 etherCON connectors, ensuring a secure and roadworthy connection. Whether you're routing audio to remote amp rooms in the studio or dealing with complex stage layouts, the SGI RX Stereo plays a critical role in delivering clean, natural tone across long distances using cost-effective Ethernet cabling.
