Equipped with a cardioid polar pattern, the ICON USB focuses on capturing sound from the front while minimizing ambient noise, making it ideal for untreated rooms. Its ultra-fast capsule rise time of 14 microseconds ensures precise and detailed audio reproduction. The microphone includes a built-in pop filter to reduce plosive sounds and comes with a custom Triad-Orbit desktop stand featuring an integrated M2-R ball adapter for flexible positioning.
For monitoring, the ICON USB offers a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing you to listen to your recordings in real-time. The microphone also features a gain control knob and a haptic analog mute switch for convenient adjustments during use.1
