The Metric Halo EdgeCard AES/SPDIF is a versatile expansion module designed to extend the digital connectivity of Metric Halo’s 3D-upgraded audio interfaces. Built for seamless integration with models such as the ULN-8, LIO-8, ULN-2, and 2882, this compact edge board installs directly into the rear expansion slot, allowing users to tailor their interface to specific workflow needs.

This EdgeCard adds AES and S/PDIF digital I/O options, providing flexible connectivity for integrating external digital gear such as converters, processors, or digital recorders. With two channels of input and output available on both XLR and RCA connections, it supports a wide range of professional and consumer digital audio formats, making it suitable for studio, broadcast, and hybrid setups.
