The Decca Tree Stand is a purpose-built, modular support system designed to meet the exacting demands of orchestral, film scoring, and surround sound recording. Engineered around the innovative Triad-Orbit ecosystem, this system provides robust stability, fast setup, and ultra-precise microphone placement for a traditional Decca Tree array.
Whether you’re recording in a scoring stage, concert hall, or immersive studio environment, the Decca Tree Stand delivers the flexibility and accuracy needed for professional-grade multi-microphone configurations.

  1.  1 × iO-Vector – Stereo Utility Bar with Quick-Change Coupler
    The iO-Vector is a compact stereo bar offering four iO quick-change mounting points for 3D mic positioning. Serving as the central mounting hub of the Decca Tree, it allows for precise left, center, and right microphone placement. Bundled with the iO-R38 quick-change coupler, it supports a wide variety of configurations. Width: 8 cm / 3.25 in, Weight: 0.75 lb (0.3 kg)
  2.  3 × iO-A2A – Long Telescopic Boom Arms (Aluminum)
    These aluminum telescopic boom arms extend from 16.25″ to 25.5″, making them ideal for defining the spatial width of your Decca Tree. Each arm locks securely into the iO-Vector, enabling smooth extension and firm positioning of left, center, and right mics with ease. Length Range: 42–65 cm, Weight (each): 0.75 lb (0.35 kg)
  3.  3 × M2 – MICRO Orbital Adapters
    Each M2 orbital adapter provides a ball-swivel joint for precise angling of microphones. These adapters allow full directional control, ensuring optimal positioning of your microphones for proper phase coherence and imaging in stereo and surround applications.
