Description

The SQ SLink card is a flexible audio networking option that adds an additional SLink port to SQ mixers or AHM matrix processors, significantly expanding their I/O and system integration capabilities. This plug-and-play module supports a wide range of Allen & Heath digital audio protocols, including gigaACE, dSnake, DX, and GX, at either 96kHz or 48kHz, offering up to 128×128 channels of audio and preamp control.

On SQ mixers, the SQ SLink card operates independently from the onboard SLink port, allowing users to connect to multiple protocols simultaneously. This means an SQ can, for example, connect to DX or GX expanders and a ME personal monitoring system at the same time. It also enables direct digital splits between SQ and other Allen & Heath consoles such as Qu, Avantis, or dLive, making it ideal for FOH/monitor splits, broadcast feeds, or installations requiring multiple mix engines.

For AHM-16 and AHM-32 processors, the SQ SLink card unlocks access to the full Everything I/O ecosystem, allowing connection to Allen & Heath’s full range of stageboxes and remote expanders. On AHM-64, it functions as a second, independently clocked SLink port, opening the door to more complex routing scenarios and dual-protocol operation within a single system.
