The microphone's supercardioid polar pattern is tightly focused, effectively rejecting off-axis sound and minimizing unwanted ambient noise, making it an ideal choice for capturing solo instruments or voice in complex or noisy settings.

The frequency response includes a subtle roll-off in both the highs and lows, taming harsh cymbals and rumbling low-end noise without sacrificing detail.
