Description

The Ambient QuickPole Counterweight CW-QP5 is a screw-on balancing weight designed for QuickPole QP5, QX, and QXS boom poles. It attaches directly to the rear of the pole after the rubber bumper is removed, with no tools required. By balancing accessories mounted at the front of the boom, it can help reduce strain on the arms and shoulders during longer recording sessions.

Weighing 476 g, the CW-QP5 can be stacked with additional counterweights to suit different microphone, windshield, and transmitter setups. Its integrated 3/8-inch thread also allows the boom pole to be mounted on a compatible stand, making it useful for discreet plant microphone positioning as well as handheld boom operation.
