Description

The Schoeps CMC141Vg Set pairs the miniature CMC 1 U microphone amplifier with the MK 41V side-address supercardioid capsule. Suitable for music and speech recording, it provides focused pickup for orchestral spot-miking and directional main microphone applications.

The MK 41V maintains consistent directionality across its frequency range, helping preserve natural tone when sound sources move off-axis. Its mild high-frequency emphasis around 10 kHz supports speech intelligibility. The side-address design also allows parallel microphone bodies to fit conveniently into near-coincident arrangements and supports use in the front left and right positions of an OCT surround recording system.

Finished in matte gray, the compact CMC 1 U offers a balanced XLR output, 12 V or 48 V phantom-power operation, and Schoeps RFI Shield protection against radio-frequency interference. The set includes an SG 20 swivel stand mount, B 5 D hollow-foam popscreen, and premium case.
