Developed by Apogee and tuned by legendary mixer Bob Clearmountain, it delivers the unmistakable character of classic 1970s hardware in a streamlined, easy-to-use interface.

At its core, the ECS Channel Strip features a vintage-style 3-band EQ for sculpting tones with analog-inspired curves, a Clearmountain-tuned VCA compressor for smooth dynamic control with Auto Makeup Gain, and a versatile Drive control to introduce harmonic saturation-from subtle warmth to rich analog coloration. A flexible high-pass filter and a Mix knob for parallel compression round out the feature set, giving you creative control and clarity without overwhelming complexity.

Ideal for both newcomers and seasoned professionals, the ECS Channel Strip integrates seamlessly with any major DAW and supports VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats. It runs on macOS 10.14.6 and later (Silicon compatible) and Windows 10 and up, with iLok required for activation. It's also fully optimized for DualPath Monitoring when used with the Symphony Desktop, offering ultra-low latency performance and real-time processing power.
