The Schoeps B 20 S is the variant of the B 20 with two layers of nylon fabric over a closed plastic basket. It is compatible with all axially addressed microphones from Schoeps.
Schoeps says the second layer makes it even more effective than the B 20, with stronger tonal discoloration. It suits situations where stronger protection matters more than a neutral sound.
