Description

The Schoeps B 5 is a solid foam pop screen for microphones of 20 mm diameter, supplied here in the standard gray. It is an acoustic foam close-speech pop screen with a negligible effect on sound quality.

At normal speaking distances it provides sufficient protection for cardioids and other directional capsules, especially speech capsules of the P-series. It suits moderate distances from the person speaking.

It can also be used as a windscreen for pressure transducers. With omnidirectional capsules it may even be used outdoors in light wind.
