Description

The Schoeps ORTF-3D Outdoor Set is a complete plug-and-play set for 3D ambience recording. It combines a windshield with fur, elastic mounting, eight supercardioid microphones and the cabling in one package.

An internal heating allows continuous 24/7 outdoor use, which makes the set a fit for ambience recording at sports events and for film sound. This is the hanging version, with the mounting and the cable outlet at the top side.

The ORTF-3D technique offers very good 360° imaging with a natural spatial impression and a large listening area. The microphones can be replaced by corresponding combinations of a CMC 1 L amplifier and an MK capsule.

Hanging Version
Mounting and cable outlet are at the top side, with a top thread for hanging the set.

Two Breakout Cables
One 4-channel breakout cable has 4 XLR outlets, and the other adds the connector for the heating supply.

Modular Alternative
CCM microphones can be replaced with combinations of a CMC 1 L amplifier and an MK capsule.
