Description
Description
The Schoeps W 5 D is a large, highly effective hollow foam windshield for 20 mm microphones. It is the larger and more effective version of the classic B 5 D and is recommended in stronger winds and against moving noise on the boom.
The foam is hollow inside and encloses an air volume around the microphone capsule like a windshield basket. It is mounted on a plastic carrier that sits firmly on the microphone, so the foam does not touch the microphone and reliably prevents any motion noise.
It is compatible with all axially addressed microphones from Schoeps.
