Description

The FDP2 Filter Antenna is a precision-engineered RF filter designed to optimize performance in both wireless transmitter and receiver systems. It serves a dual purpose: suppressing out-of-band interference and enhancing signal clarity, especially in environments with multiple RF sources. Factory-tuned to a specific frequency between 512 MHz and 692 MHz, the FDP2 ensures only signals within a 35 MHz window around the selected center frequency are allowed to pass through. This makes it an essential tool for professionals working in live sound, broadcasting, or any application where clean and interference-free RF transmission is critical.

In transmitter setups, the FDP2 significantly reduces out-of-band noise, allowing transmit antennas to be placed near receiving antennas without risking signal desensitization. For receivers, it acts as a barrier against disruptive signals, such as nearby walkie-talkies, by filtering out frequencies outside its tuned range. The unit is universally compatible with RF devices from any manufacturer, and its rugged, compact design includes SMA or SSMA connectors. With multiple block options available, users can select the most appropriate frequency range for their specific application, although some upper-range blocks are no longer permitted for use in the USA.

Features

Reduces Transmitter Noise: Suppresses unwanted RF noise from transmitters to prevent interference with nearby receivers.

Improves Receiver Performance: Blocks out-of-band interference, helping receivers focus only on desired signals, even in noisy environments.

Custom Frequency Tuning: Factory-tuned to a specific center frequency between 512 MHz and 692 MHz for precise filtering.

Broad Compatibility: Works with any RF transmitter or receiver, regardless of brand.

Targeted Bandpass Filtering: Allows signals within a 35 MHz range to pass through while reducing others significantly.

Interference Protection: Helps prevent overload from nearby devices like walkie-talkies or other RF sources.
