Description

The Genelec 4420ABM is a compact bi-amplified Smart IP installation speaker in a Mystic Black finish, designed for professional AV installations requiring precise, intelligible sound and flexible network integration. Its two-way active design combines a 4-inch woofer and 3/4-inch metal-dome tweeter with 100W of Class-D amplification, while Genelec's Minimum Diffraction Enclosure and Directivity Control Waveguide support consistent sound coverage.

Smart IP technology carries power, audio and loudspeaker management over a standard CAT cable, simplifying installation and system expansion. The 4420A supports PoE, Dante, AES67 and ST2110-30, while Smart IP Manager software provides device discovery, room equalization, system organization and status monitoring. A public API enables integration with automation systems, and the speaker includes a Euroblock connector and mounting bracket with hardware.
