The Genelec 4435AMS Smart IP Active In-Ceiling Speaker combines premium networked audio performance with a discreet Mystic Black square grille design, making it an excellent choice for modern AV installations that require powerful sound with minimal visual presence. Designed for flush ceiling integration, the 4435AMS fits naturally into conference rooms, hospitality venues, retail spaces, educational environments, and upscale residential interiors while delivering clear, balanced audio with wide and uniform room coverage.

Powered by Genelec’s Smart IP technology, the 4435AMS delivers audio, power, and loudspeaker management through a single CAT cable using PoE connectivity. Support for Dante and AES67 audio streams allows seamless integration into professional audio-over-IP systems, while Smart IP Manager software gives installers advanced control over room equalization, zoning, system organization, and device monitoring. Integration with third-party automation systems is also supported through a public API for convenient control within larger AV environments.

The 4435AMS features dual 50 W Class D amplifiers driving a 130 mm woofer and 19 mm metal dome tweeter to produce detailed sound with excellent speech intelligibility and low distortion. Its active two-way design removes the need for external amplifier racks while maintaining high-performance audio reproduction with output capabilities up to 104 dB SPL. The low-profile square grille attaches magnetically for a clean appearance and simplified servicing, while the durable construction and sustainable Finnish manufacturing help ensure long-term reliability in demanding installed audio applications.
