Description

The CMC 6U with MK 2XS is a modular mono condenser microphone set for ambient, room, ensemble, and classical recording. Its omnidirectional pressure capsule uses full diffuse-field equalization to produce a focused, spacious sound at traditional mono and early stereo recording distances. A pronounced frontal high-frequency response also provides added brilliance when used closer to the sound source.

The balanced, direct-coupled Class A amplifier automatically adapts to 12 V or 48 V phantom power and provides low distortion, low output impedance, and strong common-mode rejection. RFI shielding, frequency-independent impedance, and ultrasonic attenuation support clean transmission over long microphone cables. The set includes an SG 20 stand clamp, B 5 pop screen, and premium protective case.
