The Electro-Voice EVID 4.2 is a compact, full-range loudspeaker designed to deliver high-quality sound in both indoor and outdoor environments. With a sleek and unobtrusive form, it's ideal for background and foreground music applications in venues such as restaurants, patios, bars, and retail spaces. Its innovative design includes a three-dimensional elliptic baffle and line-array-enhanced coverage control, which together ensure wide and consistent sound dispersion. The mounting system, known as the Strong-Arm Mount™, allows for flexible and precise aiming in both horizontal and vertical directions.
Equipped with dual 4-inch low-frequency drivers and a 1-inch titanium high-frequency transducer, the EVID 4.2 offers rich bass, clarity at higher frequencies, and overall high sensitivity. It's engineered to handle 200W of continuous power and up to 400W peak, with a frequency response of 65 Hz to 20 kHz. The speaker also includes full-bandwidth overload protection and is magnetically shielded. Built with weather-resistant materials and compliant with MIL Spec 810 and IEC 529 IP 34 standards, it's well-suited for durable performance. Available in black or white (and paintable), and with transformer versions for 70V/100V systems, this speaker offers both performance and versatility in a stylish, discreet package.
