Description

The Audix F5 is a versatile dynamic instrument microphone designed for both live sound and studio recording applications. Part of the Audix Fusion Series, the F5 delivers clear, accurate sound reproduction with a wide frequency response that makes it suitable for a broad range of instruments and vocal sources. Its balanced tonal character and natural response allow it to perform well on snare drums, toms, percussion, guitar and bass cabinets, brass instruments, acoustic instruments, vocals, and speech, making it a dependable all-purpose microphone for musicians and engineers alike.

Featuring a hypercardioid pickup pattern, the F5 provides excellent isolation and feedback control by focusing on the intended sound source while minimizing bleed from surrounding instruments and stage noise. Equipped with Audix LM low-mass diaphragm technology, the microphone captures detailed transient response and maintains clarity even at high sound pressure levels. Its ability to handle demanding stage volumes without distortion makes it especially effective for drum kits, amplified instruments, and live performance environments.

Built with a precision cast zinc alloy body, dent-resistant steel mesh grille, durable black E-coat finish, and gold-plated XLR connector, the F5 is engineered for reliable long-term use in both portable and installed setups. Compact and easy to position, it offers practical flexibility for a variety of recording and live sound configurations. Designed, assembled, and tested in the USA, the F5 combines affordability, durability, and professional audio performance in a highly adaptable microphone solution.
