The Drawmer FC1 500 Series FET Compressor delivers fast, responsive compression in a compact 500 series format, bringing the performance and flexibility of Drawmer's larger studio processors into a single module. Its FET design is ideal for adding punch, energy, and control to drums, bass, guitars, vocals, and other dynamic sources, making it equally suited to tracking and mixing. A complete set of controls, including input and output gain, threshold, ratio, attack, release, and a wet/dry mix control for parallel compression, provides the precision needed to shape dynamics for a wide range of recording applications.

Beyond its core compression capabilities, the FC1 includes several creative tools that help refine and enhance a mix. BIG mode helps retain low frequency impact while reducing unwanted pumping, and AIR mode preserves high frequency clarity for a more open and detailed sound. The CRUSH saturation circuit adds harmonic richness and classic analogue character, while Program mode delivers a more natural release response during heavier compression.
