The Novation FLkey 2 37 is a dedicated MIDI keyboard controller built specifically for FL Studio, giving producers and creators direct hands-on control over the tools and workflows they use most. Officially supported by Image-Line, the FLkey 2 37 combines 37 synth-action keys, 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads, eight endless encoders, and dedicated transport controls into a streamlined production controller designed to speed up music creation from the first idea to the final mix. Its seamless integration with FL Studio allows users to create patterns, trigger samples, control plugins, and navigate sessions without constantly reaching for a mouse.
Designed to inspire creativity and improve workflow, the FLkey 2 37 includes advanced musical tools such as Scale Mode, Chord Modes, and a powerful built-in arpeggiator that make it easier to create melodies, chord progressions, basslines, and rhythmic ideas. The responsive RGB pads are ideal for finger drumming, step sequencing, and launching patterns in applications like FPC, Slicex, and Fruity Slicer, while the OLED display provides clear visual feedback for parameters, chords, and performance controls. Eight automatically mapped encoders offer immediate control over mixer levels, filters, effects, and plugin settings, helping producers stay focused on the creative process.
Beyond FL Studio integration, the FLkey 2 37 also supports external MIDI hardware through its full-size MIDI out connection and offers compatibility with other DAWs using Mackie HUI support. Native Kontrol Standard support allows deeper integration with Native Instruments and other NKS-compatible plugins, expanding its flexibility across modern studio setups. The controller also includes a comprehensive software bundle featuring six months of FL Studio Producer Edition, premium virtual instruments and effects, and Melodics lessons for improving keyboard and finger drumming skills.
