The Novation FLkey 2 Mini 25 is a compact MIDI keyboard controller designed specifically for FL Studio, giving producers and beatmakers portable hands-on control over music creation wherever inspiration strikes. Officially supported by Image-Line, the FLkey 2 Mini 25 combines 25 synth-action mini keys, 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads, eight endless encoders, and dedicated transport controls into a streamlined workflow built around FL Studio’s most essential production tools. Compact enough for mobile setups and small studio spaces, it offers direct access to sequencing, mixing, plugin control, and performance features without relying heavily on a mouse.
Despite its portable size, the FLkey 2 Mini 25 includes powerful creative tools designed to accelerate workflow and spark new ideas. Built-in Scale Mode, Chord Modes, and an advanced arpeggiator help users create melodies, basslines, chord progressions, and rhythmic patterns quickly and intuitively. The responsive RGB pads are ideal for finger drumming, launching samples, and triggering patterns in FL Studio instruments such as FPC, Slicex, and Fruity Slicer, while the OLED display provides instant visual feedback for controls, scales, and chord information. Pitch and modulation touch strips add expressive control without increasing the controller’s footprint.
The FLkey 2 Mini 25 also integrates easily into broader studio environments through its mini-jack MIDI out connection and compatibility with additional DAWs using Mackie HUI support. Native Kontrol Standard support enables deeper integration with Native Instruments and other NKS-compatible plugins, while Novation Components software allows users to customize pad and encoder mappings for personalized workflows. Included software features six months of FL Studio Producer Edition, premium virtual instruments and effects, and Melodics lessons for developing keyboard and finger drumming skills.
