The KICK is a 500 Series diode bridge compressor that brings a distinct vintage-inspired character into a compact, modern format. Drawing influence from classic designs, it delivers a rich, harmonically detailed sound with a tight and controlled response. Its fully balanced signal path, paired with custom transformers and discrete Class A amplification, gives it a bold tonal presence that works especially well on drums, vocals, and mix elements that benefit from added weight and color.

What sets the KICK apart is its dynamic compression behavior, where the ratio increases progressively as the signal pushes past the threshold. This allows it to handle everything from subtle leveling to more assertive control without sounding abrupt. The selectable attack and release settings, along with an auto release mode, provide flexibility for shaping the feel of the compression, while features like the soft mode and bass filter help retain musicality and low-end punch when needed.

Designed with hands-on use in mind, the KICK keeps operation straightforward with clearly defined controls for compression amount and output gain, along with visual feedback from its LED meter.
