Description

The MUTEC MC5 is a flexible SD and HD video routing matrix and distributor designed to simplify the distribution of reference video signals in professional broadcast, post production, and studio environments. Supporting SD bi-level and HD tri-level video formats, including PAL, NTSC, and SECAM, the MC5 accepts up to four independent video input signals and routes them freely to as many as twelve individually buffered outputs. This allows multiple video sources to be distributed exactly where they are needed while maintaining an organized and efficient signal workflow.

Designed for maximum versatility, the MC5 combines routing matrix and signal distribution functions in a compact unit with an intuitive interface that makes configuration straightforward. Users can assign outputs independently, store up to four routing presets for quick recall, and expand the output capabilities of compatible MUTEC video clock generators such as the iCLOCK series and MC-3.x models. With a built in international power supply and support for mixed SD and HD signal distribution without altering or amplifying the incoming signals, the MC5 provides a dependable solution for video synchronization and reference signal management in installations ranging from small production facilities to broadcast environments.

Features

Video Routing Matrix
Routes up to four independent SD or HD video input signals to any combination of outputs for flexible signal management.

Signal Distribution
Distributes a single video input to multiple outputs or all available outputs, making it ideal for broadcast and production environments.

Free Output Assignment
Allows each output to be assigned independently to any of the available inputs, providing maximum routing flexibility.

SD and HD Video Support
Supports SD bi-level and HD tri-level video signals, including PAL, NTSC, and SECAM formats.

Simultaneous Multi-Signal Operation
Processes multiple independent video signals at the same time without requiring separate routing hardware.

Preset Memory
Stores up to four complete routing configurations for fast recall and quick switching between different system setups.

Non-Destructive Signal Distribution
Routes and distributes video signals without altering or amplifying the original signal.

Simple Front Panel Control
Easy-to-use menu and selection controls allow quick configuration without extensive training.

Output Expansion
Expands the number of available video outputs for compatible MUTEC master clock and video synchronization products.

Mixed Video Distribution
Distributes different SD and HD video reference signals simultaneously within the same system.

Settings Memory
Automatically retains all routing and preset configurations after power cycling.

Compact Rack Design
Half-width chassis allows two units to be mounted side by side in a single rack space, saving valuable installation space.

Universal Power Supply
Built-in international power supply automatically adapts to a wide range of input voltages for reliable worldwide operation.
