Description

The PMC15 SUBXBD is a high-performance low-frequency expansion cabinet designed to elevate the PMC15 monitor into a full XBD configuration, significantly increasing bass headroom and delivering a smoother, more consistent low-frequency response throughout large control rooms. With flexible placement options-including vertical tower, horizontal side-by-side, or soffit-mounted setups-it integrates effortlessly into a variety of professional studio environments.

At the heart of the SUBXBD is the same 15-inch long-throw bass driver featured in the PMC15 master unit, ensuring tonal consistency, phase alignment, and transient precision. Housed within PMC’s large-format ATL™ cabinet with LaminairX™ airflow control, it produces extended, distortion-free bass even at high SPLs. The cabinet is powered and managed through the PMC15’s existing master36 DSP amplifier, delivering 1000W to the SUBXBD’s driver without the need for additional amps. With full DSP capabilities-including system protection, crossover optimization, and room EQ-controlled via the SoundAlign2 browser interface, the PMC15 SUBXBD offers a seamless, scalable path to full-range XBD performance.
