Description

The COMTEK PR-75P is a compact personal receiver designed for high-fidelity wireless audio applications in the 72–76 MHz band. Equipped with COMTEK’s pro-audio EQ, the PR-75P provides a wider, more natural frequency response suited for applications where overall audio quality is important. It can be used for assistive listening, remote program monitoring, language interpretation, tour guide systems, and other personal communication needs.

AutoSmart-Tuning® (AST) simplifies operation by automatically searching for and selecting an appropriate compatible transmitter. Plugging in a headset turns the receiver on and begins the tuning process, while a one-button control allows the listener to retune when multiple transmitters are in use. The receiver can also be programmed to operate on a fixed frequency or cycle through a preset group of frequencies. A multi-function LED provides clear status information for channel seeking, signal reception, no-signal conditions, and low battery.

Designed for convenient everyday use, the PR-75P supports stereo or mono headsets through its 3.5 mm audio output and delivers up to 200 mW of headset output. Its headphone cable serves as the antenna, eliminating the need for a separate external antenna. Powered by two AA alkaline or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, the receiver provides up to 100 hours of battery life and combines simple controls with a rugged, portable design.
